Well I guess I just have to face it. My experiment with Windows 2000 is just not working out. There's just too much software that I use and love that does not like Win2K at all. I tried a dual boot 98/2K system, but it's more annoying than helpful, so I think I'm going back to 98. Ah well. Time to rebuild the box again. Now, just where DID I put that boot disk??

Not too bad, actually. You get a certain amount of time for each chapter, and you can't proceed until that count down is finished. Every once in a while there is a pop up question (on info you entered at sign up) that you have to answer within 60 seconds. I guess this makes sure that you're actually at the computer and not just letting the time go by. It also forces you to take a 15 minute break every so often, with another count down timer. There are code words you have to find in the text and videos…

The defensive driving course that is. I got a speeding ticket a couple of months ago, and I've got to do the course by June 8th in order to get it off of my record. I've decided to do it online, even though it costs a bit more. I couldn't bear the thought of taking a whole Saturday to do it. It's still going to take 6 hours, but at least I can do it when ever I want to. Hasta!

Just woke up. Today is dreary and it's threatening to storm. Just the kind of day that makes you want to stay curled up in bed with a book. At least I got a good night's sleep last night – our A/C went out on Monday. It was so hot upstairs Monday night I didn't sleep well at all. Tuesday night I got the bright idea to bring pillows and the fan downstairs where it was at least 20 degrees cooler. Still, I'm getting too old to sleep on the floor. :) But the A/C got fixed on Wednesday, yay!!…

Nothing special of course. Just trying the client post feature. Seems pretty cool, but it's acting flaky. But anyway, I'm off to bed for now. I'll play with this more in the morning. :)
