Well, I was .2 pounds short of my 25 pound gold star and magnet last week – got 'em this week! Weigh-in was 265.2, down 1.8 from last week for a total loss of 26.6 pounds. Currently losing at a rate of 1.45 pounds per week.
So now I'm around the weight I was for at least a couple of years, and I'm feeling more fat and healthy, rather than fat and not feeling good at all. That is such a relief. This weekend we accidentally had to go to the mall – the battery in my car decided it didn't want to play any more. So while we were waiting for it to be checked out, we wandered the mall and people watched for a while. On a whim, I decided to take the stairs up instead of the escalator. I walked up quickly – there was no pain, and when I got to the top I was breathless, but not wheezing and gasping like I would have been just a few months ago. You can't tell that I've lost weight by looking at me yet (dammit) but the difference in the way I feel even with this little bit is amazing. It makes me excited to wonder what the difference will be like with the next 25 pounds.
Congratulations!
Last week I lost 1.2 pounds – total of 4.2 so far.
:D
Congrats :)
And believe me the difference will only be more wonderful and exciting. :D
wow that’s so great
keep it up
so proud of you!!!
26.6 pounds is a huge loss
be very proud of yourself!
btw, the santa slingshot is hilarious
even the silly soundtrack
Thanks! I’m trying…. LOL
Good job!!! Is it simply diet or are you exercising also? I’m going to start going to the Y again at the first of the year. :-) 50 in one year? hopefully.
BTW, I’m a bookcrosser also, my name there is First-Noel. There’s a link to my shelf on my LJ
Not exercising yet – I wanted to drop some first as I had/have bad foot pain, and general breathlessness, etc. Already I see a difference. I could start exercising now, but I gave myself a free pass until my first 10% and I’m sticking to it, dammit! LOL
Of course, I do get in some exercise: I have stairs at home, and I never try to get a close parking spot, and I walk the dog occasionally – but as far as regular exercise goes, I will start it… later. ;)
BookCrosser!! Yay!! :)
Yay!!! Go Jen go! :D
