So. I had one more xmas card to send, to a recently obtained address. Now, when I did the others, I had a damp sponge to seal the envelopes, for they (the envelopes) taste horrendous. I didn't want to go find my bit of sponge, dampen it for one envelope, then find a place for it to dry where the kitten can't get hold of it. I certainly didn't want to lick the damn thing. What to do?
“Jake! 'Cmere boy! You want this? Here! Yummy!”
So, my dog helpfully licks my envelope for me. Only once tried to take it, but I managed to rescue it. As
“I can't believe you did that!!” he exclaims.
“What, you knew I'd threatened to make him lick the envelopes before. What I can't believe is that it actually worked!!” I reply.

You shoulda seen him. He was all bouncy and wanting to lick the envelope. Well, he really wanted to grab it and run, but had to settle for licking it. LOL
