Don't know how good they are or not though – I've never been to the Frank Erwin Center. From the map they look like nosebleed seats, but they're the middle price range. Hmm. It's hard to justify spending a fortune on concert tickets. Some bands that have great albums aren't such a good live act. Others are well worth the price. I have a feeling the Chicks will be an incredible live act – and the tickets were reasonable. Unlike the last time I went to a Melissa Etheridge concert – she's fucking incredible live, but OUCH the tickets were expensive.

(ed: The concert, while a very good show, wasn't worth the money. The venue sucked major ass, and even though we paid a mid-range price, we were only 3 rows from the top. I do NOT consider those mid-range seats – I'm never going to go to a concert at the Erwin Center again.)

Yawn…. (ed: This is my second post – I created my LJ on 5/31/2001)
Just woke up. Today is dreary and it's threatening to storm. Just the kind of day that makes you want to stay curled up in bed with a book.
At least I got a good night's sleep last night – our A/C went out on Monday. It was so hot upstairs Monday night I didn't sleep well at all. Tuesday night I got the bright idea to bring pillows and the fan downstairs where it was at least 20 degrees cooler. Still, I'm getting too old to sleep on the floor. :) But the A/C got fixed on Wednesday, yay!! Blessed cool air. Gotta love that.
