Eeew.

I have discovered something: Tomato soup, made with water, is nasty. Never again shall I make it without milk.

    1. Really? Huh, maybe I’ll try it. I always think of half and half as a “coffee” thing, and I don’t drink coffee. please forgive me :)
      Tomato soup is low in points and just plain good, so I don’t begrudge the extra points for the milk. I just wanted to see if I’d like it made with out. The answer is a resounding no!

  1. Agreed! :) I always use skim milk, though.. was raised on it and fat in milk just seems gross. Don’t know what kind you used, but the comments were heading this way. :)
    I’ve tried tomato soup with water, and it takes like aluminum to me. :)

    1. I use 2% – I don’t like whole milk that much, and I can’t bring myself to drink skim. I think I could cook with it maybe, but 2% isn’t that bad.
      It just tasted so totally different!! I really love tomato soup, but this was so…. yuck!
