Issac Asimov is spinning in his grave. I can't believe that I'm going to say this, but the movie I, Robot may be a worse travesty than FsckingVerhoeven's Starship Troopers
Why, yes, I did just see the trailer, why do you ask?

Yeesh. I remember seeing the trailer a while back, and turning to my friend in utter disbelief.
Perhaps the best thing to do is just pretend it’s coincidentally got the same name…
Nod. It does look like a good movie, at least. It’s just completely opposite every thing the Good Doctor ever wrote about robots. And don’t even get me started on “Susan Calvin”. LOL
Maybe I should read the book first.
I haven’t seen “I, Robot,” though I LOVED all of the good doctor’s robot stories. For better or worse, I have to admit that I really liked the movie “Starship Troopers,” even though except for the hard-core teacher who taught, fought and died like a true Heinlein hero, it bore no resemblance to the book. Yes, the movie was all mindless action, but it had Denise Richards in it. What more could you ask for in an evening’s diversion?
