I was able to give my demon-child Kamir 100cc of LRS subcutaneously.<\/p>\n
This is an accomplishment because I don't like needles much, and the thought of shoving a needle through my cat's skin is… icky. Also Kamir is difficult at best. Very unpredictable, and he's gotten worse in his old age. I've gotten to the point when I tell people that visit, “Don't touch the big Siamese. No, really. Don't touch him. Even if he acts like he wants you to pet him, don't touch him.”<\/p>\n
He struggled and squalled, and neither Rob nor I was bitten. We'll see what happens when I try it again tomorrow.<\/p>\n
