It&apos;s either (a) something with my <a href=&apos;http:\/\/www.godaddy.com&apos;>GoDaddy<\/a> host that I&apos;m not allowed to do; (b) something I&apos;ve got messed up with my <a href=&apos;http:\/\/wordpress.org\/&apos;>WordPress<\/a> install; (c) computers hate me; or (d) some combination of the above.<\/p>\n<p>That&apos;s ok though &#8211; I&apos;ve got a satisfactory kludge to meet my needs.<\/p>\n<p>I can write posts w\/ <a href=&apos;http:\/\/journler.phildow.net\/&apos;>Journler<\/a>, and I can format them <em>pretty<\/em> <u>much<\/u> <strong>how<\/strong> I want to &#8211; it&apos;s totally WYSIWYG.  Journler can post both to my <a href=&apos;https:\/\/robandjen.com\/jen\/&apos;>WordPress<\/a> blog and to <a href=&apos;http:\/\/jenbooks.livejournal.com\/&apos;>my LJ<\/a>.  It does this by bringing up another window, where it shows my post w\/ HTML.  I choose the blog I wish to use &#8211; at this point I can drop in the LJ code snippet for the header you see above (if you&apos;re reading this on LJ).<\/p>\n<p>The sad part is I wrote an AppleScript that dropped it right into the Journler post &#8211; and it worked!  But it was HTML code to make the cute border, and links and everything &#8211; so when I went to post, the &lt; and &gt; got oh so helpfully translated to &#038; l t ; and &#038; g t ;.  Sigh.  See? My fix is, instead, to use <a href=&apos;http:\/\/www.chronosnet.com\/Products\/sohonotes.html&apos;>SOHO notes<\/a>, which I love.  I&apos;ve got the code snippet in a Note, and the note is set to a spot on my right-click mouse menu.  Works fantastically &#8211; I didn&apos;t need to bother w\/ AppleScript.  Actually, SOHO Notes duplicates Journler in a lot of ways &#8211; maybe I should just go with that.  Hmm.  Gotta see if <em>it<\/em> will post to both blogs.  Plus, Journler, while powerful, pretty, and cool just <em>bugs<\/em> me because the name is misspelled. :)<\/p>\n<p>So again!
