I just saw the worst political advertisement I've ever seen.<\/p>\n

I still don't believe exactly what I saw, so I've been looking for it online but I haven't found it yet.<\/p>\n

It was for Carole Keeton Strayhorn<\/a>, the self-styled “One Tough Grandma” who's trying to win the Governor spot in Texas. First, she's talking about her greatest accomplishment – her four sons1<\/sup>. Then her greatest joy – yep, her grandchildren. Then she goes on about how she's happy to be married to her husband (her third? fourth? Hell, I don't know) and that he was her childhood sweetheart, but her parents wouldn't let her marry as she was “too young”. “Well, now we're not too young,” Strayhorn crows, as she snuggles with her husband.<\/p>\n
