I can&apos;t say I <i>liked<\/i> this book, but I can&apos;t say I didn&apos;t either.  It&apos;s a woman coming to terms with caring for her mother who has Alzheimer&apos;s.  She seemed highly passive-aggressive and self-martyred which got a little wearing. I was disappointed actually &#8211; and if I lived in their neighborhood I&apos;d probably be on the rooftop with a sniper rifle. I&apos;d compare it to the Pollifax mysteries.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>121.  <a HREF=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/0425178765\/robandjenspla-20\">Easy Prey<\/a> &#8211; John Sandford (12\/26\/2004)<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I really enjoy Sanford&apos;s Prey series.  You don&apos;t really have to read them in order, but if you do there&apos;s a rich backstory around the protagonist.  If not, the serial killer mysteries are good on their own.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>122.  <a HREF=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/0812517040\/robandjenspla-20\">The Price of the Stars<\/a> &#8211; Debra Doyle and James D. MacDonald (12\/30\/2004)<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Just your basic sci-fi, and yet again book one in a series.  This is the one that kept me from hitting 125 books &#8211; I should&apos;ve put it down and whipped through my Barsoom books.  :)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>123.  <a HREF=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/0345331389\/robandjenspla-20\">A Princess of Mars<\/a> &#8211; Edgar Rice Burroughs (12\/31\/2004)<br \/>\n124.  <a HREF=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/0345324390\/robandjenspla-20\">The Gods of Mars<\/a> &#8211; Edgar Rice Burroughs (12\/31\/2004)<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><i>Classic<\/i> sci-fi\/fantasy &#8211; this is the real stuff that inspired many authors.
