Keychain time &#8211; woohoo!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Weigh in time:<\/p>\n<p>Starting weight:  291.8 lbs<br \/>\nLast week:         263.0 lbs<br \/>\nThis week:         260.8 lbs<br \/>\nLoss this week:     2.2 lbs<br \/>\nTotal loss:           31.0 lbs<br \/>\nLoss rate:            1.39 lbs\/week<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.robandjen.com\/images\/remote\/wwkeychain.jpg\" alt=\"yay!\"><\/p>\n<p>So now I&apos;ve dropped (more than) 10% of my original bodyweight.  I haven&apos;t (yet) begun any &#8220;real&#8221; (i.e. regular) exercise.  What&apos;s different?<\/p>\n<p> &#8211;  My (undiagnosed) IBS or whatever is not nearly as frequent or as horrible.  I attribute this to the major decrease in grease consumption.<\/p>\n<p> &#8211; I can walk up two flights of stairs at a normal pace without wheezing and wanting to die.  I&apos;m still out of breath, but it&apos;s not painful.<\/p>\n<p> &#8211; I can put my shoes on with my pants buttoned!  No gasping or straining.<\/p>\n<p> &#8211; I&apos;m not telling my favorite one.  :)<\/p>\n<p> &#8211;  Overall I <i>feel<\/i> much better.  Not as tired, not as yucky as I did.<\/p>\n<p> &#8211; My wedding and engagement rings aren&apos;t so tight anymore.  I can put them on w\/out <i>needing<\/i> to resort to hand lotion now.<\/p>\n<p> &#8211; My jeans (most of them) are much looser.  I probably could fit into a size smaller.  I hate clothes shopping, so I&apos;m not going to yet.<\/p>\n<p> &#8211; Sometimes I think I can see a difference, but mostly I can&apos;t.  I&apos;m relying on the way I feel right now.<\/p>\n<p>To do this week:  Need to put together our weight machine.  I won&apos;t say how long it&apos;s been in pieces on the floor in our spare bedroom &#8211; let&apos;s just say it&apos;s been there a while.  But now I need to follow through on my promise to start some sort of regular exercise now that I&apos;ve made my 10% goal.  That means I need to go for a walk this evening!
