They're fun, quick reads, packed with twists and dog training trivia and tips. I haven't read all of her books, but those I have, I've liked. Book 14 – The Wicked Flea – Susan Conant (finished 02\/17\/2004) Another “Dog Lover's Mystery”. These don't have to be read in order, but there is continuity you'll appreciate if you do. The first one is “A New Leash on Death”. Motherless Brooklyn – Jonathan Lethem I did not finish this book. I read a couple of chapters, and just could not get into it. As near as I could tell, the narrator is a gang member with Tourette's. The person who recommended it to me loved it, so I guess it has merit, but I wasn't in to it. Book 15 – The Fires of Heaven (The Wheel of Time, Book 5) – Robert Jordan (finished 02\/25\/2004) Good, evil, end of the world. You know the drill. I don't know why I started it this year, when book 11 isn't due out until spring 2005 (if then), but I did and now I can't stop. Tell me, is there a support group for Wheel of Time addicts? Book 16 – Lord of Chaos (The Wheel of Time, Book 6) – Robert Jordan (finished 02\/28\/2004) Lather, rinse, repeat.
