I first became interested in the Duchess, when I discovered that she was the subject of a painting I have. It's a chalk copy of Joshua Reynold's painting of the Duchess of Devonshire and her daughter, Little G.<\/p>\n 80. From a Buick 8<\/a> – Stephen King (07\/28\/2004) I've been getting into reading biographies and memoirs lately. This one was a really good – I've always adored Lucille Ball.<\/p>\n 84. Something M.Y.T.H. Inc<\/a> – Robert Asprin (08\/09\/2004) 86. A Round-Heeled Woman : My Late-Life Adventures in Sex and Romance<\/a> – Jane Juska (08\/12\/2004)<\/p>\n I totally recommend this book. It was funny and sad and courageous – it really resonated with me.<\/p>\n 87. On a Pale Horse (Incarnations of Immortality, Book 1)<\/a> – Piers Anthony (08\/18\/2004) Piers Anthony's Incarnations of Immortality series is a fun read. This is the way the Cosmos ought to be run!<\/p>\n 94. The Blind Assassin<\/a> – Margaret Atwood (09\/04\/2004)<\/p>\n My favorite Atwood novel is The Handmaid's Tale<\/i>. The Blind Assassin<\/i> is now my second favorite.<\/p>\n 95. Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood<\/a> – Rebecca Wells (09\/07\/2004)<\/p>\n I did not expect to like this novel. I picked it up for a buck at the Half-Price tent sale on a whim, after hearing\/reading “Ya-Ya” this and “Ya-Ya” that regarding the movie. I loved<\/i> this book. Funny and heartbreaking, it's the story of a daughter's journey to find herself in her mother's past and in her own present. This is one I'll keep and read again.<\/p>\n 96.
