So. I had one more xmas card to send, to a recently obtained address. Now, when I did the others, I had a damp sponge to seal the envelopes, for they (the envelopes) taste horrendous. I didn't want to go find my bit of sponge, dampen it for one envelope, then find a place for it to dry where the kitten can't get hold of it. I certainly didn't want to lick the damn thing. What to do?<\/p>\n

“Jake! 'Cmere boy! You want this? Here! Yummy!”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So, my dog helpfully licks my envelope for me. Only once tried to take it, but I managed to rescue it. As is gasping with hysterical laughter, I calmly seal my envelope and place the stamp.<\/p>\n

“I can't believe you did<\/i> that!!” he exclaims.<\/p>\n

“What, you knew I'd threatened to make him lick the envelopes before. What I<\/i> can't believe is that it actually worked<\/i>!!” I reply.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
