From wired: Insulted (or perhaps merely amused) by the way some Americans have turned against french fries to express their displeasure with France's anti-war position, a French website is urging people to send pretzels to President Bush. The gesture is tinged with humor, recalling as it does that Bush fainted after gagging on a pretzel last year. If America is going to duel with France, food would be a poor weapon of choice. The Yanks will lose that one every time. Yes! Send LOTS of pretzels! (Link is not typo'd)

NEW YORK (Reuters) — A lawyer was arrested late Monday and charged with trespassing at a public mall in the state of New York after refusing to take off a T-shirt advocating peace that he had just purchased at the mall. According to the criminal complaint filed Monday, Stephen Downs was wearing a T-shirt bearing the words “Give Peace A Chance” that he had just purchased from a vendor inside the Crossgates Mall in Guilderland, New York, near Albany.

Got em!!! Don&apos;t know how good they are or not though – I&apos;ve never been to the Frank Erwin Center. From the map they look like nosebleed seats, but they&apos;re the middle price range. Hmm. It&apos;s hard to justify spending a fortune on concert tickets. Some bands that have great albums aren&apos;t such a good live act. Others are well worth the price.
