… nature strikes.
We were awakened in the middle of the night with a horrendous noise, a roar, a rattling and a thudding on the roof, and the sound of DH's car alarm going off. The cats fled, the dog jumped around – and so did we.
Hail and thunder and lightening and torrential rain, and OMG did I mention hail? Golf-ball size and bigger – and our cars are dimpled. I'm actually pretty upset about that – I love my Tercel and I only have 8 payments left.
But, no one was hurt. The cats calmed down. I'm pretty sure the roof is fine, the trees just lost a few leaves, and it's only minor dents in the car.
But damn, I hate those dents. :(

Yeesh! God Jen, 8 payments and now it’s all dented?
Do you have comprehensive insurance.. and if so, would it be cheaper to have the dents pulled yourself instead of having a hike in insurance rates??
I’m happy you’re all safe though. What a hell of a way to be woken up!!!!!!

I don’t know how much it’d cost to get it fixed – and I don’t want our car insurance rates raised. :/ So I’m not sure what we’re going to do.
I picked up a hailstone, but I didn’t keep it. :)
