Poll time…

It's poll time, ladies and gentlemen. No, not mine. CNN and FoxNews are conducting polls on their websites on the ever popular subject of Gay Marriage. Need I say more? Of course I do– go vote, you bastiges. Yeah I know it's an opinion poll. But do it. Especially at Fox. Those fuckers deserve a kick in their ass. Remember to read the polls *carefully* as the language used may be intended to skew the results. Thanks everyone, I appreciate it, and if you could post this in your journal as you see fit, I would appreciate that as well.…

    Words, words, words…

OK, so I read a lot. How much do I read? Hellifiknow. So, when I noticed the community, I decided to keep track. So I like numbers, ok? Sue me. :) Then today, I also found – might be fun. Anyhow, here's my progress so far, documented in memories. Book 1 – The Return of the King — J.R.R. Tolkien (01/16/2004) Wow. For someone who usually reads quite rapidly it sure took a long time for me to finish this book. I'm fairly sure it's the first book I've finished this year – I've got about six or so started,…

    Another day older…

First off, think I'll do the Friday Five this week. :) You have just won one million dollars: 1. Who do you call first? if he's not with me at the time. Other than that, nobody. 2. What is the first thing you buy for yourself? For myself? OK, I'm going to assume this doesn't mean the obligatory “pay off the bills and mortgage”. Birthday goodies

gave me my birthday presents early today because he's not feeling well at all. Seeing as how he's running a fever of 101, I'm not surprised. :( I scored: Jennifer Government by Max Barry – The backcover blurb says it's “a wickedly satirical and outrageous thriller about globalization and marketing hype” – sounds like a good dystopia to feed my paranoid conspiracy tendancies. Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood – Author of “The Handmaid's Tale”, this is another dystopia; from the blurb: “[A]…world in which science-based corporations have recently taken mankind on an uncontrolled genetic-engineering ride..” New Spring by Robert…

Urp. Brief update, then I'm hitting the sack, I'm beat. Dinner at Benihana's: shrimp, scallops, calimari. Yum. Dessert at Cheesecake factory: dulche de leche caramel cheesecake. ohmygodtodiefor I'm not even going to THINK about how many points it was. I'll figure it out tomorrow, while I'm eating carrot sticks. LOL In other news, I bought a little remote control car – it's so cute! Only 3 inches long and Max is really puzzled by it. Heeee!
