I got the breadmaker he's been waffling about (HA!! Bread… waffles…) for Giftmas. Oh my it makes bread!! The first loaf was made from a mix that I bought just to get him started. It was good, but nothing special. I also bought him this fabulous bread machine recipe book, so we went to buy the ingredients to make our own. Oh. My. $DEITY. and I opened our presents tonight because we wanted to. Among other things, he gave me the Ultimate Johnny Carson collection, and warmfuzzysocks!! I (heart) warmfuzzysocks. And these are purple!! The show stealers were two of my gifts to him: a plush Joe Cartoon gerbil, and HPLHS' A Very Scary Solstice CD & Songbook. Now tomorrow will be a nice, quiet day at home together. I got my Project Elf giftie today!! Well, it could have gotten here as early as Saturday, because I didn't get the mail Saturday or Monday. But anyway, I got it today!! My elf was thoughtful enough to include a card with her LJ name! Many thanks to – this package is fabulous! (I forgot to include a card to my receiving elf!) Let&apos;s get the icky post out of the way before the fun post. It&apos;s not like I didn&apos;t expect it this week. I even know what went wrong. It still sucks though. :-/ On the other hand, I know exactly what to do differently this week, yet still enjoy the promised Teriyaki Chicken (Giftmas Eve) and Garlic Pork Roast (Giftmas Dinner). So. I had one more xmas card to send, to a recently obtained address. Now, when I did the others, I had a damp sponge to seal the envelopes, for they (the envelopes) taste horrendous. I didn&apos;t want to go find my bit of sponge, dampen it for one envelope, then find a place for it to dry where the kitten can&apos;t get hold of it. Drove around tonight to look at lights. It was pretty much a bust – no really good neighborhoods like I remember from an eon ago. Went to &apos;s office holiday party last night. It was fun, there was a cool swing band there, and an open bar. Can&apos;t beat that. Note to self: Take dancing lessons.
