Urp. Brief update, then I'm hitting the sack, I'm beat. Dinner at Benihana's: shrimp, scallops, calimari. Yum. Dessert at Cheesecake factory: dulche de leche caramel cheesecake. ohmygodtodiefor I'm not even going to THINK about how many points it was. I'll figure it out tomorrow, while I'm eating carrot sticks. LOL In other news, I bought a little remote control car – it's so cute! Only 3 inches long and Max is really puzzled by it. Heeee!

http://wired.com/news/politics/0,1283,62052,00.html?tw=wn_tophead_2 Y-12 is America's main facility for processing enriched uranium. It stores nearly all of the country's reserve of about 5,000 “secondaries,” the thermonuclear hearts of hydrogen bombs. When a team of Y-12 rent-a-cops racked up a perfect score during an antiterror drill June 26, officials there were shocked. How could the guards have performed so well, they wondered, when a computer model had predicted that the defenders would lose at least half of their confrontations? The answer was simple: The guards cheated. They had seen the computer models of the strikes the day before they were launched, rendering the…

OK. Mozilla – web browser. No change, been using that for a while now. KLuJe – livejournal client. So far, so good. Although it makes me do links and stuff by myself waaaaah! Hope it will pick up music from whatever I'm supposed to use. Kmail – email. Um. I actually think I like it. Dammit, and I just bought Agent. Pan – usenet. Um. I might like it. Dammit, and I just bought Agent. However, Agent's filtering leaves a lot to be desired without NewsProxy, which is why I'm giving Pan a try. Oh, btw – Agent was running…

Bleh
is very nicely rebuilding my computer for me, since I refuse to do it. :) Now I'll have to take the plunge and get used to using linux – I keep telling myself it's for the best. But I still have XP – on which I will be installing the 500 Sims expansion packs. I have all but Superstar – and makes fun of me because I've spent more on a single game than he has. Pfui, I say. In other news, I don't feel very good. Just kinda blah and a slightly sore throat. Hope it goes away soon.
