I learned something today. I learned that real maple syrup goes bad, even unopened. I think it was well on its way to being some kind of alcoholic beverage. And not a good kind. Luckily, I smelled it and tasted it before I put it on my french toast.

So my bestest, oldest friend finally got an LJ account. We&apos;ve been friends since 7th grade, which was at least an eon ago. According to our last phone call, her little sister&apos;s (who is 14, I swear she&apos;s 14, she can&apos;t possibly have grown up and had kids and..) daughter is nine years old now.
