Housecleaning

Two loads of laundry are done, four are not put away. No, that doesn't make six.

A while back we moved our pc's down from the computer room because it was too bloody hot up there when we couldn't afford to run the a/c. Now that we're employed again, and winter for that matter, I really want to move us back up there and reclaim the downstairs for other purposes. But the computer room really needs to be cleaned out.

I've got half of it dusted and vacuumed, although more dust is settling even as I type. Guess I better go back and tackle the rest.

I don't want to talk about the kitchen.

I might as well face it – I'll never win any awards from Good Housekeeping.

      1. Oh, he’d never say anything to you. He’d be so polite because you’re not his girlfriend and he doesn’t “hang” at your place (paraphrased). He feels these facts give him the right to be rude to me in my own house. In other words, he treats strangers much better than he does me.
News flash… he doesn’t “hang” at my house either, any more.
But you’re free to kick his ass anyway. :-)

P.S. Now that’s he’s out of the picture for the moment (haven’t seen or heard from him since Tuesday), I have the strangest urge to clean and organize my house. For me.

  1. The only time I do any house cleaning is on Sunday evenings when I’m too wiped out from the weekend to do anything mentally or physically demanding. A long bout of vacuuming through layers of dirt is almost as good as meditation to restore the body and soul.
