Here's part 2 of Orson Scott Card's article on mp3's, music sharing and the RIAA:
Musicians can go into a studio, record their own music exactly as they want it, and not as some executive says they have to record it because “that's what the kids want.”
Then they can sell CDs at their live performances and set up online, with a bunch of MP3s that people can share around. They also can sell CDs, and without a lot of expensive record company overhead.

What can I say? Same stuff, different day. How are Rob and you? I know it has been quite awhile, but I got tired of dfw.singles. Too much fighting and stuff over things that really do not matter.

Life is good. Heck, I haven’t been to dfw.singles in over a year. It just wasn’t fun anymore. We’re still in Austin, and Rob is enjoying his job. Me, I’ve decided that I hate computers, tech support, and system admin, so I’m looking for something else. Our family is complete with a dog and three cats. We lost Kamir a year and a half ago, but just this month we aquired a new kitten.
