“Just letting the neighborhood know that our house was burglarized yesterday afternoon between 1:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. <snip address on the other side of the blight from us> Two windows broken, one in the front left side and one in the back left side (inside our privacy fence). Had to have been kids since the hole wasn't very big in the front window, and they didn't get in the back window. Only thing taken, aside from our sense of privacy and personal security, were playstation games. Police said it was probably kids. Of course if anyone saw anyone hanging out around that area yesterday, they can email me at <snip>. Otherwise, I guess just spread the word to watch out for kids just walking around/hanging out around homes.”

No, it was just an email from the HOA about someone ELSE in our neighborhood who got burgled.
Their house is on the other side, kinda on a dead end and somewhat (for a blight) secluded.
