This is one of those lame “I'm still here!” posts. :) This past week and a half have been just nuts, and I haven't had the energy to post, or I haven't had much to say. Or at least, not enough to say to actually make a post. Which is a silly excuse, really, but there you go. :)
Let's see – we've been working late pretty much every night. I don't even really know how that happens, but happen it does. In fact, I'm at work Right Now, but I'm not on the clock because I hit 40 hours a half hour ago.
Besides work, I've been completely and utterly obsessed with Animal Crossing, and my PDA. In fact, I've combined them. I can't believe how incredibly geeky and obsessive that is, but that's what I've done. Truly, I am ashamed of myself. At the same time, quite pleased because it's Just Plain COOL!
Due to the above obsession and getting home late every night I haven't done much reading. Right now I'm reading Dragon's Kin which is a Pern novel, but it's written by Anne McCaffrey and her son, Todd McCaffrey. So far, I'm a little disappointed. It seems… dumbed down. Written more to a grade school level, and not nearly as rich as the rest of the novels have been.
That's it for now! Got a nice long weekend coming up, and plans for absolutely nothing! Gotta love that. :)
