My right hand and wrist have been hurting very badly since Sunday. Gripping anything is painful; opening jars is impossible. I've been wearing a hand/wrist brace for most of yesterday and all day today – it seems to help some.
I really, really hope it's just a flare up caused by poor mouse habits. If this was caused by shooting on Saturday I think I'll cry.
You don’t want that. But even if it is from the shooting, it may just be a strain. You weren’t shooting long enough for it to be an RSI type of injury.
I do, however, speak from experience when I say that you want to rest until you feel completely better. I’ve learned that lesson the hard way.

True, but my hand is screwed up to begin with. I did a lot of hard 10-key when I worked for an inventory service (20,000+ kph), plus long hours at the computer.

From a long-time Carpal Tunnel sufferer, I can tell you this: the inflammation is what causes the pain. You could have strained it shooting, which could cause inflammation. Ibuprofen and the brace are best. Once the inflammation dies down FULLY, you’re cured until next time. And you can always wear a brace while shooting!
