Son of a…
My laptop broke. I was using it this morning, I put it to sleep as always, and when I got home from work it was not asleep – it was off. The power cord was in, but it was not glowing as it should be. The battery claims it has a full charge, but the laptop will not turn on. Ugh. I've got a very bad feeling about this. I'm going to bed.

Oh wow.
1 – My laptop is on my lap. My butt is on my couch. Downstairs. No cables. Wireless, baby!!! I'm so excited about that I can't stand it. :) 2 – I finished God of War!! Wow, but that was a fantastic game. I'd say it definitely earned its “M” rating. I finished it in 11 hours and 3 minutes. I had to do the final boss battle twice though – the playstation crashed on me twice. It crashed during the 3rd phase of the battle (games have a tendency to do boss battles in 3 phases) but I was…

ooooh… shiny!
This is my first post from Gaz. I have joined the Dark Side; I have succumbed to the halo effect. I… own a Mac. A 15″ PowerBook, to be precise. What's more, I like it. I like it a lot. After my traumatizing and frustration laden attempts at using Linux w/ KDE, I was skeptical. Then I tried Rob's iMac, and it seemed like it'd actually work for me – and I'm finding that I really like it. I'm posting right now from NetNewsWire, a RSS aggregator that looks awesome. It has a weblog thingy (which I'm using right now…

I was going to post this huge entry about how Rob and I were pregnant, but then I realised I'd never be able to be convincing. In other news, I'm really hoping this isn't an April Fool's joke: Chat Transcript – Warner Home Video on The Home Theater Forum [JohnPannozzi] Any plans for Tiny Toon Adventures, Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, Freakazoid, Road Rovers, the Quick Draw McGaw Show, the Son of Kong, Mighty Joe Young 1949, John K. and Spumco's Yogi and Jetsons shorts, seasons 2 and 3 of the Jetsons, Flintstones on the Rocks, Ralph Bakshi's Hey, Good…

Wired News: RFID Cards Get Spin Treatment “We'd prefer,” said Joseph Broghamer, Homeland Security's director of authentication technologies, “that the terms 'RFID,' or even 'RF,' not be used at all (when referring to the RFID-tagged smartcards). Let's get 'RF' out of it altogether.”

Is there a philatelist in the house?
Does anyone want this stamp? I have no idea why I have it, but because I used to collect stamps, and more likely because I'm an unreformed pack rat, I can't bring myself to just throw it out. If you want it, email me your snail mail address and I'll mail it to you. Inside the envelope, not outside. Hey, you'll get TWO stamps! I finally got my scanner working (damn microsoft and damn XP) so it's bedtime for Jen.

A Confession And A Meme!
So got an iMac a while ago. He loves it, and has been trying to get me to try out my account on it, which I finally did. I can say that I don't hate it. And there are things about it that I like (such as the fact that it's Not Microsoft). I played with it some more, and I think I might like it a little. And then he decided he wanted an iPod mini, since the portable cd player he has won't consistently play burned cds. So we traipsed off to the Evil Apple store and he…
