Fireworks have been going off since 7 pm. I drugged the dog, so he&apos;s not as freaked as he could be, but he&apos;s still not happy. I didn&apos;t hit 125 books – I didn&apos;t put a longish book on hold to read the 4 Barsoom books (it was too good) and I spent too much time wrestling with my new Palm. and 3.5 books. Actually, it&apos;s really not a problem – I&apos;m off work until Monday (YAY!) and I&apos;ve found the perfect 4 books to read: the first 4 Edgar Rice Burroughs “Barsoom” books. Classic sci-fi, yet short quick reads. Plus, it&apos;s been years since I last read them. If I can&apos;t finish 4 of those in two days I&apos;ll turn in my library card.

I&apos;m sitting at 120 books for this year, and there&apos;s 7 days left. Can I reach 125? Five books, seven days. The question is, how badly should I cheat? I don&apos;t want to read anything I&apos;ve already read this year, so that counts out the Myth and the Incarnation books. I could do those, easy. Did some preliminary carshopping today. Many thanks to those who gave us suggestions – we&apos;re getting closer to knowing what we don&apos;t want. Hopefully what we do want will become clearer soon. Also hopefully we&apos;ll hear from the insurance adjuster tomorrow. We got our tree up today! Then we discovered one very large, heavy, and furry ornament in it. He&apos;s so damn cute I couldn&apos;t bring myself to yell at him. Yet. OK. So like, I&apos;ve been “playing” Yourself!Fitness for two weeks now – which is 10 workouts. I love this thing! Maya is great – she looks and moves pretty good which makes it fairly easy to follow along even for a klutz like me. Her voice is really nice too – soothing and encouraging, not shrill and grating like the Texas women at my WW meetings. Every so often during the workout she asks how you&apos;re doing, and you tell her that you can&apos;t keep up, are working hard, or no sweat. She then adjusts the pace and difficulty. She&apos;ll…
