Well, if it was a time machine. Last Tuesday's weigh in was 284, which is down 1 pound for the week, and 7.8 pounds total. More later, I just wanted to get the WI post done before I forget again!

We have a name!
Maxwell D. Trouble. The D stands for decibel, and we just call him Max. He has a vet appointment today, and hopefully when he's cleared we'll let him loose. We've been confining him in the dog's crate. The dog likes him, and he thinks he likes the dog. If Jake moves too fast, Max puffs up, but there has been some nose touching, and Max has been considering the possibility of a tail attack. The elder cats howerver, are unimpressed. I'm hoping the intruder at the least will make Pandora and Mai-Lyn if not buddies, at least allies.

Uh oh…
Just got a call from my husband. He went to his parents this weekend to bring his dad a virus and trojan free computer. Apparently there's a little tabby kitten who has chosen Rob as his person. Keep your fingers crossed that the little guy is feline leukemia/HIV free and is accepted (or at least tolerated) by my bitch-kitty Mai-Lyn. Six hours until kitten invasion!

Neatokeen!
I found my first Where's George bill today! I turned in a jar of change to the grocery store for paper ($50 worth!) and got a $20 bill with a Where's George stamp on it. It was first tagged 02/20/2001 in Townsville, NC. Gonna put that puppy in circulation again soon! Hmm… maybe I'll start tagging bills again. I tagged 97 bills during a four month period late 2001. One bill made it all the way to Hawaii!

(stolen from ) You are the 1955 Ford Fairlane Crown Victoria. Take the Which Classic Car Are You? quiz! By JC and Bren. What I wouldn't give for one of these…. or even better, a Skyliner. Mmmm…. chrome. Vroom, indeed.

Woohoo!
I did 5 sit-ups! No doubt improperly, and it hurt more getting down on the floor than it did to do the sit-ups themselves. :-/ Hey, I just had a thought. I have a dog – d'you think that if I took the dog for a walk, we'd BOTH get much needed exercise?? What a concept…

Why do people pick background images that make it difficult (if not impossible) to read the text?

Day 23
Yay – three weeks! Weigh-in today was 285 lbs – down 1.8, for 6.8 total! I guess that's good – it's two pounds per week, which is supposedly how fast you're supposed to lose. I want it all off NOW!! LOL – I'm all about instant gratification here. That's probably part of the problem. Slow, but sure. I can do it!
