New webhosting set up, and mostly working. Now all I'm waiting for is the registry of robandjen.net to switch, so I can point that puppy to the new robandjen.com. It's all the same thing.
Can't believe some of the stuff that's been thoroughly trashed at my webhost and how long it's taken with no end in sight. And considering what Rob discovered when SSH'd in, they've probably been rooted. It would explain a lot.
Now to either find the docs on my guestbook, or find a new one to install, because I completely screwed it up somehow.
Ah well. It's only computers.
Where did you move to for hosting?
Godaddy.com – so far looks pretty good.
Let me know how good that goes. being in the field of development and hosting, i love to find out more about other hosting places and how well they handle clients, etc. :D
by the way, i saw your site the other day. its cool. :D Since you are moving to a new hoster that I see has php, you should try http://gallery.sourceforge.net as a picture album. it’s free, makes it a lot easier than hardcoding pages for an album and its simple to configure for a server.

Yeah, my old host has php – that’s what my guestbook is. But for some reason it’s only half working on the new one. Weird. I’ll figure it out eventually.
But I’ve been thinking about that gallery program!! I’m really bored with my current photo album.
