Let’s just say that “Ginger Spice” is just a tad brighter than I expected… better living through chemicals, eh?
In other news, I’ve been working on my site photo gallery. I was going to use Gallery, but I’ve been too lazy to install it. But yesterday I discovered that GoDaddy added a photo gallery (among other goodies) to hosting accounts. Whee! Setup was extremely painless, and I’ve already got my whole webshots album moved over. Still working on some captioning, but eh, that’s no problem.
Next up is to move my old icky photo album into the new shiny one. Yay for web toys!!
Sounds like someone got a new hair color? Let’s see!
Workin’ on it. :)
It’s not bad. I don’t hate it, or even dislike it – it’s just different. Can’t say I love it either though. I think I like warm red-gold browns better.
Still, it’s cool for a change, eh?
Cool! Looking forward to seeing the new color!
My friend, who does my hair, had done a red and gold combination that everyone loved. She has not done that since a couple of summers ago. Now, I have decided to lay off the coloring. I think a good change would be to go back to my old hair color.
Uncertain Weather..
When I checked out some of the photos on your album, I really dug the theme of your wedding, as well as many of the casual shots you included.
But I almost lost it when I looked at the old black and whites and the grainy color photos from days gone by. Most certainly some of the people featured are no longer with us.
Here is a picture I recently took at a family reunion in Gulfport, MS back in July..
Chances are, that particuliar photo will be around for decades to come, long after all parties concerned (the elderly fellow, the little girl, and myself) are gone. It is a bittersweet mortality check, and I find my heart to grow heavy when I think about it.
But at least, some record is maintained.
Cherish your time, cherish your friends and loved ones. Because in the end, our ability to do so is limited by time itself.

Re: Uncertain Weather..
That’s a great picture! He looks mischevious, and the little girs seems just fascinated by him.
My parents are gone, and I’ve got boxes full of pictures many of which I won’t be able to identify at all. Such a lost treasure.
Sometimes I envy those who have strong family roots.
Re: Uncertain Weather..
little girl, of course. Sigh.
