I can sympathise – I’ve lost count of the number of times a sysadmin has asked me to locate something on my machine because they’re faced with a Chinese/Russian/Hungarian/whatever version of XP and they can’t locate a system process. It usually turns into a group activity. Fun for all!
Luckily, I don’t have to do TOO much with it. The hard part was getting the vmware (I *heart* vmware!) image up to par – had to add two types of users, get the passwords right, convince windows that yes, I did want to enter passwords, set explorer to show extensions and not that stupid web crap, and get IE and netscape to behave properly. Now that that’s done, the rest should be a snap!
Of course, it took me 3 or 4 tries to find the add/remove program icon…
