    For whom the horn honks…

Yesterday was a normal Sunday: Laundry, games, web surfing, movies – mostly vegetation. So we were in the process of said vegatating, when the Beast began honking in the driveway. Both of us were dressed, more or less, so we grabbed my keys and ran out to see what was going on. Now, the Beast has a factory installed anti-theft thing. It's not super sensitive; you can shake the truck pretty hard and it won't go off. We didn't see anyone around, no damage, nothing suspicious at all. So we shrugged it off and went back inside. Dear Cthulhu…

Oh Great Cthulhu! I have been an extremely industrious devotee this year. In August, I made a burnt offering to the Dead Dreamer (100 points). In November, I wore an Elder Sign (-10 points). Last week, I sacrificed icecelt to Cthulhu (500 points). In July, I stopped geodyne from defiling Lovecraft's grave (-20 points). In March, I prepared an ocean voyage to R'lyeh (200 points). Green icing?

My world got a little darker today. I turn on the car radio on my way into work, and am confronted with the horrifying fact that someone made a cover of Professor Dumbledore Richard Harris' MacArthur Park. I have no words – merely an inarticulate scream of horror and despair.

    food…. coma

Damn, but can cook a turkey! He's in charge of cooking the turkey, making gravy, and making the bread. (Ok, so we cheat and use a bread maker) I'm in charge of the mashed potatoes, green bean casserole (la la la la I can't hear you, it's good stuff la la la), and carving the turkey. I call it carving, but really, it's just hacking all the meat off. It works. I (heart) my electric knife. Rob played Final Fantasy most of the morning while I slept in. I played .hack most of the afternoon. After dinner we attempted to…
