    Bad… bad, bad, bad….

    So today at Central Market they had Vidalia onions. I adore Vidalia onions. A year or so ago, 's parents gave us a FryDaddy that we hadn't opened yet. We opened it tonight. Ohhhhhh…. onion rings w/ Vidalia onions. Then we tried to batter and fry some cheese chunks…. they didn't work out so well, but were still yummy. Then we sliced up a potato – mmmm…. best french fries I've had in an eon! I feel ill…. I'll pay for this, I'm sure.

    News about Ender's Game: The Movie Since Ain't It Cool News is carrying the story, we're certainly not going to deny it here. The director of Ender's Game is Wolfgang Petersen. The studio that is developing it is Warner Brothers. OSC is really happy about both. The upshot is that all are agreed on a fairly detailed outline of a film that combines Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow in a way that will combine the most important elements of both. Together, the stories make one terrific film.

    Ugh – grocery shopping

    So I&apos;m standing in line, waiting to pay. From across the store I can hear the “squeak squeak squeak” of those STUPID “car” shopping carts. Except it&apos;s worse than that. The sound of the horn (yeah THAT&apos;S a good idea, put a noise maker on the damn things) isn&apos;t that loud so the little shreiklings have to POUND on it as hard as possible. The resulting sound is EXACTLY like tapping a window with car keys – and it carries! On another note, I (heart) my Palm.

    Finally, a school that&apos;s responsible. These students are experiencing <gasp> consequences for their actions – unlike the last one, where the teacher quit in disgust. Cheating scandal The students had to rewrite the essays — but will receive a zero for the work, Hamilton said. They also must write an essay reflecting on their plagiarism.     Exploding Fast Food

    Suit asserts a Wendy&apos;s sandwich &apos;exploded&apos; FREMONT – A Clyde woman claims a Wendy&apos;s chicken sandwich “exploded” onto her face and hands and caused severe burns. She filed suit against the fast food chain yesterday in Sandusky County Common Pleas Court.
