What the hell, Austin? Record high yesterday (81° F) and then thundersleet and snow last night? Freakin’ bi-polar weather… Originally published at Jen’s Corner. You can comment here or there.

I was tagged by punk_apple… “It works like this: if you use Flickr, go to the sixth page of your photostream and pick the sixth picture there, then post it to your blog, and pass it on to six other people.” Wallaby, Austin Zoo I’m tagging anyone who wants to do it!

Hey! Another meme! Put your music player on shuffle, and write down the first line of the first twenty songs. Post the poem that results. The first line of the twenty-first song is the title. Boat’s Up The River And It Won’t Come Down There is trouble in the world today On rides the captain and three hundred soldier lads I hear what you’re telling me but that don’t make it so. Well first you gotta want to get off At first I didnt understand when she walked through the door You’re like a cool breeze to a hot spell…

It’s the last day of November! So, naturally, I think I should wrap it up with a meme. ;) This photo meme is kinda cool – I swiped it from awdrey_gore. 01. Answer each of the questions below the cut using the [Flickr] search engine. 02. Choose a photo from the first three pages. 03. Copy the URL of your favorite photos [here]. 04. Then share with the world.

You know, I don’t think I’ll try to force myself to post every day again. Maybe it’s that I feel obligated to post, which makes me rebel. Or maybe I just don’t have a life. :D I’m ok with that, really. I happen to like my well upholstered rut. Anyway. One more duty post after this one, and then it’s back to random sporadic posting. Maybe I’ll manage to post once a week! Almost into the homestretch for this semester at school. One more test in Government, and I’ve got a paper in American Lit due, and that’s it. Next…

Things that might be on a TurkeyDay table that I’d rather not see: Cranberry sauce1 – what can I say, I’ve never liked the stuff. In my family it was always the canned gel kind, with the can indents still on the… congealed red… stuff. Honestly, I don’t know if I’ve ever tried the “real” kind – and I don’t feel like I’m missing anything. :D Peas – I. Hate. Peas. I’ve tried them a number of occasions, and I just Do Not Like them. Bleh. Yams w/ marshmallows – ugh. Just, ugh. Now. I don’t care what anybody says,…

Fun quiz! American Civil Literacy – take the quiz – No cheating, now! You answered 31 out of 33 correctly — 93.94 % Average score for this quiz during November: 78.0% Average score: 78.0% I missed two on economics, which doesn’t surprise me. Hm. Maybe I should make an economics class my “unrestricted elective”. I love history. Originally published at Jen’s Corner. You can comment here or there.

Today is Saturday. We need to go to Costco, Petsmart, and pick up a prescription at the vet, but seriously, I don’t feel like leaving the house. It’s windy and it makes me feel like the best thing to do is snuggle up under a blanket and play video games. So, a compromise. :D Today I’m gonna do laundry and study for my American Lit test that’s on Monday, and vegetate as much as possible. Tomorrow, Costco, Petsmart, and GameStop to pick up Animal Crossing City Folk. sqlrob had better get in as much Fallout 3 as he can today,…
